As life returns to normal, we realized that there are learnings we gained through the adversity of the past year that have made us better. We have new sterilization products, processes, and regulatory partnerships that were forged through necessity. We have found new ways to engage team members so that they are more satisfied, and their work product is better. This all resulted in the realization that we don't want to get "back to normal". We want to get back to better!

When the Pandemic began Elkem Silicones was put in a unique position to help with medical grade silicones. Elkem had to completely pivot the product mix and production schedules to meet new demands as well as plan ahead for an unknown situation while dealing with supply and logistics disruptions across the marketplace. In this presentation we will take a brief look at some of the way Elkem was able to adjust in order to meet our customers’ needs in battling the COVID-19 pandemic and what the future holds.
